Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for his assessment of whether the current Educational Visits guidance for post-primary schools provides adequate measures in relation to the safeguarding of young people.

Answer:

Responsibility for oversight of the Educational Visits guidance resides with the Education Authority (EA) and it also considers making any updates as may be necessary to the guidance. This would include co-ordination and the collation of advice and guidance from a range of EA services in relation to such visits.
