Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 19617/22-27, for an updated timeline for the publication of the 2024-2027 Apprenticeship Action Plan.

Answer:

There are a significant range of actions currently underway in the area of apprenticeships. This includes an Apprenticeship Inclusion Challenge Fund, Apprenticeship Week and the development of new apprenticeship and higher-level apprenticeship programmes for September 2025.

In parallel, officials are developing an Apprenticeship Action Plan that will include these actions and others that will be delivered over the next two years.

The Apprenticeship Action plan is in the final stages of development and will be published in March 2025.
