Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any assessment being made of their Department's performance in terms of not yet appointing a Commissioner for Public Appointments, a year on from the restoration of the institutions.

Answer:

We are pleased to report that the competition to appoint a Commissioner for Public Appointments for NI (CPANI) launched on 10 March.

A Commissioner will be appointed as soon as possible, following the conclusion of the appointment process.

Officials will conduct an evaluation of the process once complete.
