Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail how their Department is monitoring changes to the European Union Racial Equality Directive, to ensure obligations under Article 2 of the Windsor Framework are maintained.

Answer:

The Executive Office (TEO) uses the EU Legislation and Information Tracking Service (EULITS), which is updated weekly by the EU to monitor equality directives.

In addition, The Executive Office coordinates an Article 2 Interdepartmental Working Group with representatives from other Departments. This supports the updating, tracking and coordination on the relevant Directives, including the Race Equality Directive 2000/43/EC.
