To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the contingency plans that were in place prior to Storm Éowyn.

Answer:

The NI Civil Contingencies Framework – Building Resilience Together, was launched in 2021 and reviewed in 2023. At the regional level, it lays out arrangements for effective emergency management for preparing for, responding to, and recovering from an emergency across Government, Local Government and responding agencies.

it is underpinned by operational plans, owned by each Department which are specific for emergency events.
