Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail how Inland Waterways is working with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in relation to addressing concerns around the ecological condition of Lough Neagh.

Answer:

The DAERA Minister established the Lough Neagh Stakeholder forum in December 2024 to ensure that stakeholder views are understood and properly considered during the implementation of the Lough Neagh Action Plan.

My Department participates in the Lough Neagh Stakeholder forum alongside NI Water and is content to be part of any discussions with DAERA on matters within its remit.
