Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy whether any measures are being taken to establish a compensation scheme for those affected by Storm Éowyn.

Answer:

Officials from my Department are engaging with senior representatives from the Utility Regulator and NIE Networks to determine what options are available to provide payments to electricity customers across the North who were most impacted by a loss of power due to Storm Éowyn.

My officials will continue to work with the Utility Regulator and NIE Networks to identify the most appropriate option to provide payments to eligible electricity customers impacted by Storm Éowyn.
