Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any plans his Department has to review student finance provision for students undertaking allied health professional degree courses, in light of the 20 per cent increase in other degree course areas.

Answer:

The recent announcement of a 20 per cent increase in Maintenance Loan support applies to all eligible full-time undergraduate students for academic year 2025/26, including eligible allied health professional students.

Specific student financial support for students undertaking allied health professional degree courses is a policy matter for the Department of Health.
