Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the provision of a park and ride facility for Comber.

Answer:

My Department has plans to develop a park and ride site at Comber. The preferred site is located along the A22 Belfast Road corridor immediately adjacent to the Comber Greenway with the potential to provide parking provision for 410 vehicles in its first phase of development with scope for further extension.

Feasibility and appraisal works are ongoing to enable the submission of a planning application in the near future. Provision of this park and ride site will be dependent on the availability of funding.
