To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the number of households living below the poverty line, defined as 60 per cent of median income, that are paying back an advance payment or budget loan issued by his Department in each year for the last five years, broken down by local council area.

Answer:

Official measures of absolute and relative poverty for Northern Ireland are derived from the Family Resources Survey.

The Family Resources Survey does not hold information on repayment of budget loans or advanced payments issued by my Department.
