To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 21075/22-27, when the £13 million investment announced in October 2024 to deliver additional short break provision for young people will be delivered.

Answer:

Funding of £1.377m has been allocated in year between the HSC Trusts which was allocated in January 2025. The Department is currently working alongside the Trusts to finalise business cases for 25/26 whereupon the £13.1m will be allocated.
