To ask the Minister of Finance when work by Professor Gerry Holtham will begin on reviewing the funding need of Northern Ireland.

I am pleased to say that work has already begun on Professor Holtham’s independent review of the North’s level of need. Professor Holtham is expected to complete his work ahead of Phase 2 of the Spending Review, which is due to conclude in June 2025.
