To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 14496/22-27, for an update on the Bannfoot Footbridge project.

Answer:

The proposed Bannfoot Pedestrian and Cycle bridge project is now progressing through the detailed design stage. Future delivery will be subject to the successful completion of the relevant technical and planning approval processes and availability of funding.
