Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any plans his Department has at present to support the regeneration of Dungannon.

Answer:

My Department is currently providing funding through an Urban Development Grant of £915,000 to Perry Street in Dungannon. Perry Street was previously a vacant street of derelict and underutilised buildings, and through the support of my Department, there will be nine townhouses, four apartments and three commercial units developed. My Department is also supporting a £374,000 town centre revitalisation scheme in collaboration with Mid Ulster District Council across four urban towns in the Mid Ulster area to include Dungannon.

My Departmental officials will continue to work in collaboration with Mid Ulster District Council regarding future regeneration plans for Dungannon.
