To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any support available to homeowners living in houses where the water infrastructure has not yet been adopted by NI Water and the developer has closed the relevant development company.

Answer:

At present, there is no support available to homeowners living in houses where the wastewater infrastructure has not yet been adopted by NI Water and the developer has closed the relevant development company.

Unadopted developments, remain private developments and neither the Department nor NI Water has any legal remit to carry out works in private developments, with the responsibility for the development resting with the developer.
