Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, pursuant to AQW 13230/22-27, to detail the outcome of their considerations of a submission from officials in relation to the High Street Task Force’s Delivering a 21st Century High Street report and appropriate next steps.

Answer:

Following consideration of the issue we wrote to Ministerial colleagues at the Departments for Communities, Economy, Finance, and Infrastructure asking them to consider the recommendations of the High Street Task Force report and determine the way forward, bringing matters to the Executive for consideration, as necessary.

Responses have been received from all four departments, outlining how they would take forward recommendations that fell within their responsibilities.
