To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in the absence of an updated International Relations Strategy, how the work of the Northern Ireland Bureaux in Beijing and Washington D.C. is to be evaluated, including against which identified outcomes such value is to be measured.

Answer:

It is intended that the International Relations Strategy will intersect with broader Executive and departmental strategies and actions, supporting future long-term strategic policy planning by the Executive and maximising delivery of cross-departmental objectives.

The role of all the overseas offices will be reviewed as we develop our new International Relations strategy.
