To ask the Minister of Education what time a Special Educational Needs Coordinator is entitled to receive, outside of teaching time, to deliver their role.

Answer:

At present there is no specification on the amount of time outside of teaching time, to deliver the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) role.

The allocation of time is a decision taken at school level and varies from school to school.
