Question:
To ask the Minister of Education what additional non-contact time is provided to teachers to complete Personal Learning Plans (PLP) and PLP reviews for children with special educational needs.

Answer:

The new draft SEN Regulations place a duty on Board of Governors of grant-aided schools “to ensure that the designated learning support co-ordinator receives reasonable time to conduct their role effectively”; this includes completion and review of the Personal Learning Plan.
