Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on plans to regulate the type of electric scooter which may be purchased in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

It is currently illegal to use e-scooters on public roads and public spaces here and I have no plans to change that position. Anyone using an e-scooter illegally may be subject to enforcement action by the PSNI.
