To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the creation of an Ending Violence Against Women and Girls training portfolio for the Northern Ireland Civil Service, as outlined in the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Delivery Plan.

ANSWER

Officials within NICSHR, a Directorate within my Department, are working in collaboration with The Executive Office to develop learning interventions to support ending violence against women and girls. This includes current work on an online learning product, which covers the Active Bystander Approach. Additional development proposals include an online learning product to raise awareness generally of violence against women and girls.
