Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the submission of the business case for the new Gender Identity Service.

Answer:

Following significant engagement between my Department and the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, a detailed business case for the Lifespan Gender Service was submitted on 6 March 2025. My officials are now considering its contents, including funding requirement, and will shortly provide me with advice for my consideration.
