To ask the Minister of Education to detail any financial savings that have been delivered as a result of the creation of the Education Authority since 2017.

Answer:

From 2017 to 2024, the Education Authority (EA) has reported delivered savings of circa £136.8 million. It is not possible to disaggregate savings directly attributable to the creation of the EA from those delivered to operate within the budget envelope over this period.
