Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether Religious Education is included in the current Review of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.

Answer:

The Strategic Review of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, currently being carried out by Lucy Crehan will consider all areas of learning across the curriculum.

Given the nature of the Review, it is for Ms Crehan to determine the level of detail regarding any recommendations on specific subject content.

Ms Crehan will provide her report to my Department in May, at which point I will consider the recommendations.
