Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail when welfare mitigations will be reviewed to consider if the existing mitigations are meeting needs or if there are any gaps in support.

Answer:

The Executive agreed, on 5 December 2024, to extend the existing mitigations schemes for another 3 years.

There is no current timetable for a further review of mitigations.

It will be for the Executive to decide on any future mitigation package of new measures and to consider the allocation of the additional funding such a package might require.
