Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any measures his Department is taking to improve planning for community resilience in the face of adverse weather events.

Answer:

Community Resilience is a feature of the NI Civil Contingency Framework led by The Executive Office, and my department is an active participant in the delivery of that framework. My officials are currently reviewing and updating my department’s civil contingency priorities. This work will explore how community resilience can be enhanced, and the role of a wide range of stakeholders in that approach.
