Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities how his Department plans to communicate changes resulting from the proposed Westminster welfare reforms to affected claimants in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

My officials are continuing to work closely with the Department for Work and Pensions to understand the full implications for Northern Ireland of the changes announced on 18 March.

However, it will take time to understand the impacts of these changes.

Once further detail is known, my department will communicate the changes to all relevant stakeholders and claimants.
