To ask the Minister for Communities whether any discussions have taken place with the Minister for the Economy on expanding job and skills programmes to accommodate those no longer entitled to benefits due to proposed welfare reforms.

Answer:

My Department continues to analyse the potential impact of the Welfare changes announced by the Work and Pensions Secretary. Aligned with the Department for Economy, my Department will be bidding for necessary funding to support those people impacted and no longer entitled to benefits under the proposed changes.
