Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for his assessment of the findings of Action for Children’s new report, Paying the Price of Child Poverty, particularly its conclusion that removing the two-child limit would be the single most effective action to reduce child poverty.

Answer:

My officials are reviewing the conclusions of Action for Children’s report, including those around the two-child limit, and these will be considered alongside ongoing work to bring forward an effective, sustainable and deliverable Anti-Poverty Strategy.

The final content of the Anti-Poverty Strategy will be subject to Executive approval and public consultation prior to its final publication.
