To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on the introduction of legislation for miscarriage leave and pay.

Answer:

The addition of the entitlement for parental bereavement leave and pay in cases of miscarriage is to be provided for by April 2026, in line with the requirements of the Parental Bereavement (Leave and Pay) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022.
