To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail how the Lurgan signalling improvement project will improve traffic congestion in Lurgan.

Answer:

Translink has carried out initial modelling during the Feasibility Stage for the Lurgan signalling improvement project. This indicates that the project could reduce closure times, at the three level crossings, by up to 33%.
