Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail how she is implementing the recommendations included in the High Street Task Force’s Delivering a 21st Century High Street report that are relevant to her Department.

Answer:

My Department is responsible for recommendation 8 of the High Street Task Force Report: ‘Fair Work on Our High Streets’. Delivering on this recommendation aligns with my economic priority on Good Jobs. Ongoing work within my Department on the development of a new Employment Rights Bill, promotion of greater adoption of the Real Living Wage, and collaboration with the Labour Relations Agency to create a Good Employment Charter will serve to support implementation of the recommendation.
