Question:
To ask the Minister of Education when the purchase of land at Mandeville Road North, Craigavon, will be completed to enable the development of Portadown Integrated Nursery and Primary School.

Answer:

Unfortunately, due to the current constraints on my Department’s capital budget the purchase of this land cannot be progressed at this time, and regrettably I am not in a position to confirm when the purchase will take place.

I will however continue to make a strong case for increased and sustained funding for Education, to permit this and many other much needed school build projects to proceed to construction as soon as possible.
