Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities how he will ensure the Homelessness Strategy Steering Group is fit for purpose, with relevant senior staff from relevant Departments attending and the group reporting directly to him.

Answer:

The Terms of Reference of the Homelessness strategy steering group and the membership are open to review each year in order to ensure that the focus and membership of the group remains up to date, relevant and fit for purpose.

The Department will take time to consider the Northern Ireland Audit Office’s report into Homelessness in Northern Ireland and its recommendations.
