Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any action he will take to ensure there is a single forum with ownership of monitoring and reporting on homelessness actions taken by the Housing Executive, in line with recommendations in the Homelessness in Northern Ireland report by the Northern Ireland Audit Office.

Answer:

The Department welcomes the publication of the Northern Ireland Audit Office Report into Homelessness.

This Report recognises the complexity of the issue of homelessness and acknowledges the considerable effort and substantial investment which goes towards addressing this problem.

The Department will now take time to consider its findings and recommendations.
