Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the action he will take to address the statement in the Homelessness in Northern Ireland report by the Northern Ireland Audit Office that the quality and focus of reporting on the Interdepartmental Homelessness Action Plan outcomes has deteriorated as action plans have progressed.

Answer:

The Department welcomes the publication of the Northern Ireland Audit Office report into Homelessness.

This report recognises the complexity of the issue of homelessness and acknowledges the considerable effort and substantial investment which goes towards addressing this problem.

The Department will now take time to consider its findings and recommendations.
