Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the process to appoint a Special Educational Needs Champion.


Answer:
Work is ongoing to complete a phased, costed operational plan which will sit behind the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Reform Delivery Plan, with immediate priority on the nine projects funded from the Public Service Transformation Fund.
The remit of the SEN Champion and how that person(s) will be appointed will be defined in due course in collaboration with key stakeholders.
