To ask the Minister of Education whether his Department will ensure that the number of pupils on a reduced timetable are tracked.

Answer:

Officials are working closely with EA colleagues to ensure that it will be possible to record absences at a more detailed level than at present through the use of a designated absence code from the commencement of the 2025/26 academic year, subject to the implementation of Edis.
