Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 22930/22-27, whether she has considered Shared Island funding for the Bannfoot pedestrian bridge.

Answer:

The Bannfoot pedestrian bridge is being taken forward as a local Active Travel project to improve pedestrian and cycle links around Lough Neagh as part of the Loughshore Trail. Shared Island funding would not be required for delivery of this project.
