Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any progress made to develop and deliver a Citizens' Assembly process, as committed to in New Decade, New Approach.

Answer:

We recognise and fully support, the role that civic society plays in supporting policy making, through co-design and co-production approaches.

Ministers have recently written to Executive colleagues to seek their views on the proposed reestablishment of the Civic Forum on a compact, flexible and agile basis, which would complement the growing direct involvement of stakeholders in co-design in policy formulation.
