Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister whether they will conduct a review of the system to ensure that funding provided under good relations programmes is not subject to undue influence by paramilitary groups.

Answer:

We are currently considering the recommendations of the T:BUC Review, which includes an assessment of structures and governance around existing funding streams.

Currently, Good Relations programmes fund constituted organisations, not individuals. Any group found to breach the conditions of their Letter of Offer can have funding withheld/withdrawn.
