Question:
To ask the Minister of Education when construction work will commence for the extension and nursery unit of Lurgan Model Integrated Primary School.

Answer:

Lurgan Model Integrated Primary School was announced in May 2018 to advance in design under the Second Call to the School Enhancement Programme. On 28 May 2024 I announced funding to progress the project to construction.

The Education Authority is currently preparing a business case addendum for the project and subject to approval of this by my Department, the EA will commence the procurement process to appoint a contractor to construct the works.
