To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, pursuant to AQW 23342/22-27, to detail (i) how the work of the NI Bureau in Beijing is currently being evaluated; and (ii) against which existing targets and outcomes it is evaluated.

Answer:

The International Relations Strategy will set out agreed priorities and clear aims, alongside a fully integrated program of actions and performance indicators. This will support a consistent approach across government, amplify our messages globally, maximise what we can deliver in geographical regions and deliver value for money.

Our international teams work closely with UK Embassy partners to ensure policy and operational development gives consideration to the Northern Ireland trade circumstances, capabilities, and market opportunities globally.
