Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to provide a breakdown of how many social homes will start in 2025-26 following the budget announcement, broken down by constituency.

Answer:

The Executive agreed its final Budget 2025-26 on 3 April. I am currently prioritising the capital allocation for my Department and will provide an allocation for the Social Housing Development Programme.

It will then be for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, as commissioning body for the Social Housing Development Programme, to confirm the location and amount of starts that can be achieved this year with the available budget.
