Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether a review of the Online Safety Strategy 2020-2025 will take place.

Answer:

The Online Safety Strategy and an initial 3-year action plan were published in February 2021 however funding for implementation only commenced in 2022. Year 3 of the Strategy has therefore just ended, and we are in the process of drafting an updated action plan to cover the remainder of the period.

As we approach the end of the 5-year Strategy, the Department will carry out a review to assess overall success and inform future strategies.
