To ask the Minister of Education to detail the number of statutory pre-school settings in 2024-25 that had non-target age children in their intake.

Answer:

In the current 2024-25 academic year 183 statutory pre-school settings have admitted penultimate age children with 1,396 obtaining a funded pre-school education place.
