Question:
To ask the Minister of Health when there will be a revised Protect Life 2 Strategy.

Answer:

The Protect Life 2 Strategy has been extended to 2027 with the option of a further extension to 2029. The new Action Plan and Implementation Plan were agreed subject to funding issues being resolved at the Executive Working Group on Mental Wellbeing Resilience and Suicide Prevention on 3 April. The Department is currently considering the financial implications as some new actions cannot be met within existing budgets.
