Question:
To ask the Minister of Health how his Department ensures that suicide prevention funding is targeted geographically and demographically based on suicide rates.

Answer:

One of the aims of the Protect Life 2 Strategy continues to be to ensure suicide prevention services and support are delivered appropriately in deprived areas where suicide and self-harm rates are highest. The PHA implement the Strategy and ensure this targeted resourcing continues where the biggest difference can be made.
