Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the redevelopment works in Irish Street, Downpatrick.

Answer:

My Department is currently preparing a business case to assess and define how best to secure a preferred developer for the Irish St Development Site. Subject to a positive business case, and funding being available, a development brief for the site will launch later in 2025. My Department is working closely with Newry Mourne and Down District Council and the Downpatrick Regeneration Working Group to take forward the scheme.
