To ask the Minister of Education to detail any role the Education Training Inspectorate has in monitoring the appropriateness of schools' admissions criteria.

Answer:

The Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) does not have a specific role to monitor the appropriateness of schools' admissions criteria. During individual organisation inspection, ETI evaluates the quality of the strategic and corporate governance of a school in relation to how effectively it supports the provision of high-quality education for the children or young people.
